Are remote IT support and IT help desk the same?

An IT help desk, on the other hand, is a centralized resource that offers IT assistance to users or clients inside a company. A group of IT support specialists may work at the help desk, providing assistance to users or customers via phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.

Therefore, an IT help desk is a centralized resource within a company that provides IT support to users or clients, whereas remote IT support offers IT support. The IT help center or a different group of IT support technicians can offer remote IT support. However, when users or clients need IT assistance within a company, the IT help desk is frequently the first port of call.
