·        Scope of Services: Managed Service Providers typically offer a broad range of services, including proactive maintenance, monitoring, and management of IT infrastructure, as well as ongoing support and troubleshooting. MSPs may also offer strategic IT consulting and planning services. In contrast, IT Support Specialists typically provide reactive support for specific issues or incidents as they arise.

·        Service Delivery Model: MSPs usually provide IT services as a subscription-based service, where they manage and maintain the client's IT infrastructure. IT On the other hand, IT Support Specialists y provide services on an ad-hoc or project basis.

·        Level of Engagement: Managed Service Providers typically have a higher level of engagement with their clients, as they are responsible for the ongoing health and performance of the client's IT infrastructure. On the other hand, IT Support Specialists may have a more limited engagement, focused primarily on addressing specific issues or incidents as they arise.

·        Target Clients: MSPs typically serve small to medium-sized businesses, while IT Support Specialists may work with companies of any size.
